On the occasion of the approaching 31st National Safety Education Day for Primary and Secondary School Students, BJMTR collaborated with the Wanzi Station Police Station of the Beijing Public Security Bureau Public Transportation Corps to hold a BJMTR Safety Camp career experience activity. On March 26, over 60 students from the Primary School Affiliated to Capital University of Economics and Business visited Dongguantou Nan (S) Station on Line 16 for an immersive, hands-on metro safety education session that was both educational and engaging, helping to raise safety awareness among young travelers.
A teacher participating in the activity remarked that bringing the classroom into the metro station allows students to learn through hands-on experience in a real-world setting, helping them acquire practical safety skills and understand that safe travel is a shared responsibility. The teacher added that this type of off-campus practical session is vivid, engaging, highly relevant, and delivers excellent results.
A representative from BJMTR stated that the purpose of jointly organizing the Safety Camp with the police station was to enable students to acquire practical metro safety knowledge through a combination of real-world scenario-based learning and career experience in an engaging and educational manner. Looking ahead, BJMTR will continue to innovate the content of the "BJMTR Safety Camp" program, ensuring that metro safety education accompanies young people throughout their development, and work together with passengers to create a safe and civilized metro travel environment.
