During the 2026 May Day holiday (from Friday, May 1 to Tuesday, May 5), BJMTR takes multiple measures to ensure the safety and smooth travel of passengers. The total patronage of lines operated by BJMTR is expected to reach 9.079 million during the holiday.

To the delighted cheers of students, a metro safety class kicked off at Beijing Petroleum Institute Affiliated Primary School. On April 13, the BJMTR Safety Camp entered the campus, focusing on the theme of "Safety on Escalators" and aligning with the characteristics of spring travel safety.

During the 2026 Qingming holiday (April 4 to 6), the total patronage of lines operated by BJMTR reached 5.676 million passengers. Specifically, the patronage of Line 4-Daxing was 2.493 million, Line 14 was 1.669 million, Line 16 was 0.795 million, and Line 17 was 0.719 million.

The 2026 Qingming Holiday falls from April 4 (Saturday) to April 6 (Monday). As the weather warms and the demand for spring outings increases, coupled with tomb-sweeping travel flows, passenger flow is expected to rise across all BJMTR lines.To ensure safe and smooth journeys for passengers, BJMTR has completed advance arrangements.

On the occasion of the approaching 31st National Safety Education Day for Primary and Secondary School Students, BJMTR collaborated with the Wanzi Station Police Station of the Beijing Public Security Bureau Public Transportation Corps to hold a BJMTR Safety Camp career experience activity.

The 2026 Spring Festival travel season ran for 40 days, from February 2 to March 13. During this period, BJMTR's lines transported a total of approximately 73.595 million passengers, seeing a 7.8% year-on-year increase.
