The first Beijing and Hong Kong Middle School Students Metro Train Model Contest jointly organized by BJMTR, Beijing Municipal Educational Commission, Beijing Municipal Transport Commission and Hong Kong and Marco Affair Office of Beijing Municipal People’s Government are in full steam. The organizing committee held a pre-competition training for the participating students and teachers in Hong Kong on May 19.
On the day, officers from the organizing committee communicated to the students and teachers background, program and detailed rules of the competition as well as advices for students’ preparation. Specialists operated metro train models on the racing track to demonstrate all the designated operations described in the detailed rules. The purpose of the training is to help them gain deep and comprehensive understanding of the contest.
