The tomb-sweeping holiday of 2024 will start on April 4 (Thursday) and end on April 6 (Saturday). During the holidays, the main passenger flow is for tomb-sweeping and outing. According to passenger flow, it is expected that some tourist attractions and stations near cemeteries will see an increase in passenger traffic. To ensure the smooth operation of transportation services during the holiday, BJMTR has formulated a transportation plan in advance and will organize passenger transportation properly to ensure the safety and convenience of passengers.
To facilitate passengers’travel, Tiangongyuan station of Line 4-Daxing, Xi Yuan station of Line 4 and Line 16 have formulated passenger flow diversion plans in advance. At the same time, the frequency of station broadcast announcements has been increased, and temporary signs have been added in the station to inform passengers of the nearest exit route to their destination. Close communication is maintained with the surrounding cemeteries to acquire the number of people making an appointment to visit a tomb in advance and respond to passenger flow changes timely. In addition, a service counter has been set up at Tiangongyuan station to provide travel consultation, route guidance, and other services to passengers visiting the tombs.
