Patronage of lines operated by BJMTR totals 12.156 million during National Day holiday and the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday

During the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday (September 29th to October 6th), the total patronage of lines operated by BJMTR amounted to 12.156 million. Among which, the patronage of Line 4-Daxing reaches 6.944 million; patronage of Line14 reaches 3.82 million. Patronage of Line 16 reaches 1.113 million and the patronage of Line 17 reaches 0.279 million. A total of 12,368 trains are arranged, including 29 temporary trains. The passenger transport organization of lines operated by BJMTR is stable and orderly thus ensures the smooth travel of the passengers.

Recruit volunteers and strengthen passenger flow guidance

From September 29th to October 3rd, BJMTR organized staff volunteers to provide assistance at high traffic stations such as Beigongmen Station, Beijing Zoo Station, and Beijing South Railway Station on Line 4, as well as Dongfeng Beiqiao Station and Dawang Lu Station on Line 14. The volunteers guided passengers to enter and exit the stations quickly, assisted passengers with recharging and ticketing, and directed passenger flow at entrances, exits, and transfer passages which maintained the order during the holiday.

Adequate capacity to ensure passengers' travel after the holiday

October 7th is the first working day after the holiday, and October 9th is the first Monday after the holiday. To ensure safe and smooth travel for passengers during peak hours in the morning and evening, BJMTR prepares 12 spare trains on main lines to get prepared for adding temporary trains as needed. In addition, appropriate capacity adjustments will be made during off-peak and evening peak hours to ensure smooth travel for passengers.
