On December 23, 2020, BJMTR officially announces the train timetable of the middle and north section of Line 16 after connection. Among which, departure time of first train(Ganjiakou to Bei'anhe)up-track from Ganjiakou station is 5: 40 am, and departure time of the last train is 10:45 pm.

The middle section of Line 16 operated by BJMTR starts from Xi Yuan in the north and ends at Ganjiakou in the south, with a route length of 11 km.

Following the completion of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) deployment on 5 major stations on BJL4-DXL namely Beijing South Railway Station, Xidan Station, Jiaomen Xi(W) Station, Xihong Men Station, and Xin Gong Station on October 27, since November 27, the rest of 30 stations of BJL4-DXL start to deploy AED device as well.
