Line 17 of BJMTR will start trial operation according to the schedule starting from October 15, 2025. The headway of the existing sections of Line 17 will be shortened, operating hours will be extended to facilitate passenger travel

Starting from October 15, 2025, the entire Line 17 (Jiahuihu Station – Future Science City North Station) will commence through trial operation according to the schedule. During this period, the passenger-carrying sections are the existing southern section (Jiahuihu Station – Shilihe Station) and northern section (Workers' Stadium Station – Future Science City North Station) of Line 17, while the non-passenger-carrying section is the central section (Shilihe Station – Workers' Stadium Station). Meanwhile, from the start of the through trial operation according to the schedule, adjustments will be made to the evening peak headway and first/last train times on the existing sections of Line 17 on weekdays to facilitate passenger travel.

During the through trial operation according to the schedule on Line 17, the evening peak headway on the existing southern section (Jiahuihu Station – Shilihe Station) and northern section (Workers' Stadium Station – Future Science City North Station) on weekdays will be shortened from 8 minutes to 6 minutes, while the morning peak headway will remain unchanged at 6 minutes.
