Erligou station of Line 16 operated by BJMTR opens on March 18,2023 (Saturday) and can be interchanged with Line 6. As of 10 am, the overall inbound and outbound traffic of Line 16 Erligou station reaches more than 1,300, the interchange traffic exceeds 5,000 by 10 am. The overall operation is stable and orderly.

Erligou station of Line 16 operated by BJMTR will officially open on March 18,2023 (Saturday).

BJMTR developed intelligent inspection robot together with its partners and pioneered the pilot application in train maintenance, which is reported to be the first case in Beijing's rail transit industry.

The Spring Festival 2023 travel rush starts on January 7 and ends on February 15 with a period of 40 days. During the Spring Festival travel rush, to ensure safe and smooth travel of passengers, BJMTR has taken various measures to closely monitor the weather and passenger flow, and to make arrangements for train operations and passenger flow guidance at stations with high passenger traffic.

With 2023 Spring Festival holiday coming to an end, lines operated by BJMTR are welcoming a wave of returning passengers. Since January 26 (the fifth day of the lunar new year), the daily average patronage has gradually recovered.

During the Spring Festival holiday of 2023 (from January 21 to January 27), patronage of lines operated by BJMTR totals 3.908 million. Among which, Line 4-Daxing accounts for a total of 2.341 million. Line 14 accounts for a total of 1.208 million and Line 16 accounts for 294,000. Line 17 accounts for a total of 65,000. A total of 9,948 train trips are dispatched on all lines operated by BJMTR, in which , 24 trains is additionally dispatched.
