The north section of Line 17 operated by BJMTR will be opened on December 30, 2023 (Saturday). On the same day, Line 16 will also achieve through-train service. After the opening of these two new lines（sections）, the route length of lines operated by BJMTR will exceed 190 kilometers.

On December 25, 2023, BJMTR officially announced the timetable of the trains of the north section of Line 17 and Line 16. The first train departs from Future Science City North station to Worker's Stadium station at 5:20 AM, and the last train departure time is 10:30 PM for the downbound trains of the north section of Line 17. For the upbound trains of the north section of Line 17 from Worker's Stadium station to Future Science City North station, the first train departure time is 5:55 AM, and the last train departure time is 10:58 PM.
