On June 3, the city continues to carry out passenger experience test of the ticketing system upgrade in 206 metro stations and 526 bus lines

In accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention, since May 28, Beijing has successively launched ticketing system upgrade tests in 115 metro stations and 10 bus lines. During the test, the public transport ticketing system runs smoothly and orderly and the citizens respond positively. As of May 31, a total of 10.301 million Yikatong physical cards and riding codes have been upgraded.

To ensure the smooth operation of the public transport ticketing system, starting from June 3, the test will be rolled out to 206 additional metro stations and 526 additional bus lines. By then, Beijing will have a total of 25 metro lines with 321 stations and 536 bus lines providing passenger experience test of the ticketing system upgrade.
