In order to implement the deployment of Beijing Covid-19 epidemic prevention work, to reduce the waiting time of passengers in line, and to improve the travel efficiency, Beijing Rail Transit Command Center actively responded to the work requirements of the comprehensive upgrading of the Beijing public transport ticketing system, and organized relevant units to review AFC system to realize the automatic association of boarding code, physical card and health code information, and the automatic verification of passengers when they pass the gate.
To ensure safe, convenient, and healthy travel of passengers and the smooth completion of the ticketing system upgradation, Beijing public transport ticketing system functional test starts on the first train on May 23, 2022. During the test, the current health code inspection regulations will still be implemented.
