Taking spring water as a guide, the work draws out the content and intention of the Shan Hai Jing -a Chinese classic myths and legends, and depicts an ethereal and vivid mythological image. It is said that there is a spring in Dongguantou, which is 100 meters deep and the water flows all year round. The spring water flows eastward along the terrain and merges with other small springs forming the Xiaoqing River. The Xiaoqing River flows through Tianjin and joins the Haihe River. The work uses this as an interpretation of the local human history.
