The middle section of Line 16 operated by BJMTR opens for trial operation and connects with the north section on 31 December 2020 (Thursday). The operation is organized according to the timetable. A total of 278 trains are scheduled throughout the day, with a minimum headway of 6 minutes and an average headway of 8 minutes during off-peak hours. As of 5:00 pm of the first day, the total traffic of stations on the middle and north sections of Line 16 reached 101,600. Among which, the total patronage in the middle section of Line 16 reached 16,700. The overall operation is stable and orderly.
