JINGTAI station is adjacent to the only time-honored brand - Beijing Enamel Factory- in the cloisonné industry in China. Under the leadership of the managment, the design plan of JINGTAI station was jointly created by the station designer Xu, Enbin and Beijing Enamel Factory. The design conceptually represents the classic production process of cloisonne in the Jingtai period of Ming Dynasty. The final art piece was painted with enamel steel plates(also known as enamel plates) with the same roots as cloisonne. The wall design was jointly drawn by the author, the famous Chinese painter He, Jiandan, and is the largest hand-painted enamel work known to date.
