By-Laws
1.In order to ensure the orderly operation of metro and create a safe, convenient and harmonious environment for the passengers, this by-laws is made in accordance with “Method for the Operation Management of Urban Railway Transport” and “Method for the Management of Safe Operation of Urban Railway Transport of Beijing”.
2.Any person who entered the premises of metro (Including entrance/ext, pass way, platform, concourse, car) should follow the by-laws, traffic notices and social moralities conscientiously. He/she should pay attention to civilization and politeness, accept and cooperate the management and security check of BJL4 staff, so as to maintain the orderliness of the train services.
3.Passenger must have a valid ticket to take the train service. Anyone who use fake ticket, invalidated ticket or invalid ticket is subject to punishment stipulated in the “Method for the Use of Ticket of Metro in Beijing”.
4.Each adult can bring a child under 1.2m free of fare. Passenger bringing more than 1 child under 1.2m should buy ticket for the other child/children.
5.Disabled passengers such as blind, deaf, mentally handicapped persons, passengers have difficulty in actions, children before schooling and psychiatric patients should be accompanied by healthy adult when taking the train service. When there is no accompany, station staff should be contacted timely to provide relevant assistance.
6.Dangerous goods such as inflammables, explosives, toxic, corrosive and lethal items (Blasting cap, dynamite, fireworks, gas, diesel, kerosene, paint, calcium carbide, liquefied gas, acids etc.) as well as serious odorous items or items can easily foul the metro facilities or station/train environment are prohibited in the railway premises.
7.Kite, balloon and bulky objects ( Bicycle, TV, Block acoustic unit etc.) as well as items that may affect the orderliness of the metro operation or the personal safety of the passengers are prohibited in the railway premises.
8.Improperly dressed, seriously drunk, potent infectious disease patients and person whose health condition may harm the personal safety of the passengers are not allowed to enter the railway premises.
9.Passengers must enter the station via AFC gate orderly, follow all the notices and instructions:
（1）Wait inside the safety line (Yellow line), walking, sitting or lying between the PSD and the yellow line or putting object there are prohibited. Pushing each other or the PSD or train door is not allowed;
（2）Aboard the train from the 2 sides of the door after the alighting passengers alighted the trains, Forcing boarding and alighting or fighting for seat is not allowed;
（3）Care the gap which boarding/alighting. Stop boarding/alighting when the alarming bell rings;
（4）In case train service is interrupted, following the arrangement of the metro staff or transfer to other trains.
10.We advocate the ethic of respecting elders and loving children, please give the seats to seniors, children, sick, pregnant passengers and passengers with infant or other needy persons.
11.Be cautious in riding the escalators, stand steadily at the right side, leave the left for persons in hurry.
12.In case of emergency at stations or on trains, passengers should keep calm and evacuate under the instruction of metro staff or PA.
13.Passengers should keep the environment hygiene in the railway premises and maintain public order conscientiously. The following behaviors are prohibited:
（1）Smoke, spit, soil, spit chewed gum, litter;
（2）Lie, put feet on seat, block gangway in the trains;
（3）Begg in forms of performing, kneeling, rude begging, entangling passengers, etc;
（4）Paint, carve, unauthorized post or issue ads or promotions;
（5）Loiter, sit or lie, put sundry objects at the concourse, entrance /exit, and pass way, set up vender post without authorization;
（6）Chase and play, hubbub in high voice, sing, dance, play instrument and use acoustic equipment producing noise;
（7）Bring cat, dog or other pets.
14.Passengers should cherish the public properties in the railway premises, the following behaviors which harm the safe operation of the railway are prohibited:
（1）Climb and cross AFC gate, barrier, PSD;
（2）Jump from platform to the track areas, enter the track, tunnel or other restricted areas;
（3）Operate emergency or safety facilities under normal conditions;
（4）Deface fire fighting, evacuation direction signage, instruction panels or Ads boxes.
15.Who violates the By-laws and results in damages to individuals or properties shall bear the legal liabilities according to laws. Metro staff are entitled to dissuade and suppress any behavior which may affect the normal operation of the railway and hand over the offender to the police upon the condition.
