Beijing Rail Transit's first intelligent station service robot on duty, technology helps passengers to travel in metro

On September 28, at the National Library Station of BJL4 and BJL16 operated by BJMTR, three intelligent service robots are officially "on duty" to provide passengers with intelligent services such as travel inquiries, in-station navigation guidance, and information reminding.

This artificial intelligence robot, named after Jim, has a lively and lovely appearance and a big knowledge database. He can realize human-machine communication through voice interaction and graphic interface. This is the first time that intelligent robots are introduced into metro stations to provide passengers with multiple services to facilitate their travel in Beijing rail transit network. It is reported that the second-generation uniform of BJMTR is officially put into use on September 28. The appearance of the robot "Jim" also incorporates elements of the new uniform, including the four-color band and navy-blue tone, which symbolize the company's corporate values. The new robot will meet passengers on the same day as the new uniform.
